Week 4 Book Response

This week I read Coraline by Neil Gaiman. Everyone always says: "OMG! This book is supposed to be really creepy, well it is and inst. There are parts of the book that are creepy and there are parts that are not.

I would say that this book is for the people who want are creative and scary adventure. If i were to  categorize this book would go in, It would probably be in fantasy and adventure.

This book a is about a girl who finds a door in her new flat that she eventually goes through, the passageway leads to another house that looks exactly like hers but it has 'the other mother' and 'the other father' who have buttons for eyes. They want to keep Coraline there forever and 'love her forever and always'. Coroline eventually goes back to her original house but then realizes the other mom took her actual mom and dad so she has to go back again and find and rescue them without the other mom stealing her forever.

My book for next week will probably be Forgive me Lenard Peacock, and yes I know I said I would read that one for the past two weeks, but I couldn't get them, so if not that one AGAIN then I will read The Night Circus.

  1. Honestly, that sounds really cool, like something I'd dream about. And I LOVE books like that! About how long is it? Because from your description, I can imagine this is probably a fairly quick read, but if the author drags it out it might get slow. This most certainly has a place on my TBR!

  6. This is my favorite book, like ever (yes i am pretending to be girly). I love this book so much. it is not creepy at all, although the movie is and Wybie does not exist, and i do not know what the point of him is in the movie. There is a short story by Neil Gaiman called Cinnamon that is really good too.
